MIRACLES ❤️🩹 - 4 May 2026
Hey everyone! Hope you all had a great week! This week was definitely a week but so many blessings and miracles!
For anyone who doesn't know, I had already known this week was going to be a struggle as my dad was getting open heart surgery back home. It's been rough being so far away with all this news these last few weeks but when the day came this week when my dad was in surgery, I was pretty stressed and worried. As I was receiving updates from my mom, my companion got a text from her cousin that her parents just got in a really bad car accident back home. This day immediately became the worst day for both of us. I can confidently say probably the worst day of my life 🥲 My comp's dad was in such bad condition she almost completely lost him. We were both a wreck but there was no one that could be there for her and understand her the way I could in that very moment because I was going through it too. There were SO many tender mercies and miracles that happened throughout this that have just grown my testimony immensely. I won't give all the details but by miracle, her dad and my dad are okay and both recovering well.
I don't really have much else to share from this week other than my testimony and my gratitude for my Heavenly Father. My testimony of prayer has strengthened more than I can imagine. He hears us and answers our prayers. He is watching over us. He knows us and knows what we care about. He knows what we need. My companion needed me and I needed her. This transfer hasn't been the easiest so far but I have learned so much and I know I am exactly where I am supposed to be for a lot more reasons than I may think. I am so grateful for the miracles and blessings that I have witnessed and received. I love my Heavenly Father and I am so grateful for Him. I am so grateful for Jesus Christ and His Atonement. I am so grateful for my beautiful family and to have the knowledge that I can be with them forever and ever and ever ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️♾️♾️♾️♾️♾️
I read the goat Elder Holland's talk "Like a Broken Vessel" and he says,
"So how do you best respond when mental or emotional challenges confront you or those you love? Above all, never lose faith in your Father in Heaven, who loves you more than you can comprehend...“That love never changes. … It is there for you when you are sad or happy, discouraged or hopeful. God’s love is there for you whether or not you feel you deserve [it]. It is simply always there.”
Everyone needs to go read that talk! Or any of Jeffrey R Holland's talks! He's the best!
I love you all more than you can imagine. I am grateful for all the prayers and love for my family! I have truly felt it and I really appreciate it! Hope y'all have the best week 🥰🥰
