Yayyyy back already! Hope everyone is doing well! Love and miss y’all big!
This week is the last week of the transfer and I can’t lie I am getting a little antsy to leave this area. I love it so much here and there are so many amazing people that I have built so many connections with but I am hoping I get some new scenery. But we will see! I will find out this week but I also know wherever I am is wherever God needs me to beπ©·
This last week we had some exciting things! One thing that was super exciting was our friend Phillip. He is 9 years old and unbaptized and we've been working with him for a bit now. But we got him ON DATE!! ππ It isn't until August 2nd because that’s when the family said would be best for them but it’s so exciting to have a set day to work towards for him! Not only that but he was at CHURCH πππ He always struggles to come and will change his mind the morning of so it’s such a miracle he made it ☺️☺️
Another miracle was with our friend Xiamei! She was at church again and after church we had another lesson with her. We have a lady in the ward named Sister Chen who is Chinese and she was able to video call in on our lesson. π¨π³ π¨π³ This lesson was so amazing! A lot of it was honestly just them talking to eachother in Chinese but it was SO powerful. I truly can’t explain the way it felt. I didnt know exactly what they were saying or talking about, but my heart knew. I knew everything that was being said was true and the spirit was really there. Xiamei is absolutely GOLDEN and is completely understanding everything! Lots of questions were answered about baptism and she said that is definitely something she wants! She was baptized in China 12 years ago into another Christian church but she understands the priesthood and she wants to be baptized by the proper authority ππ It is amazing to be able to witness that the Lord really does prepare people. "The field is white already to harvest" π↕️π↕️π↕️
Elder Patrick Kearon- God's intent is to bring you home
"He does not put up roadblocks and barriers; He removes them. He does not keep you out; He welcomes you in...The Father’s design, His plan, His purpose, His intent, His wish, and His hope are all to heal you, all to give you peace, all to bring you, and those you love, home."
Love this talk π©΅ The Lord removes our roadblocks and as we desire him and follow him, we will one day be welcomed home. That is the whole plan.
I love you all SO MUCH! Missing my fam this week...have a blast in Powell πππ
