SIS MILIUS-0 KITCHEN FLOOR-2 😐💥

Hey everyone! I miss y’all so much I hope you all had a great week! Pretty chill week this week nothing too crazy.

We had lots of good member lessons which was great! We shared the new Easter video a lot this week cause its literally so goated y’all need to go watch 🐐🐐 I love Easter season and focusing more fully on Jesus Christ and his Atonement for us. Its almost impossible to really grasp his great sacrifice for us and how he did it but I am so blessed and grateful for Jesus Christ and the Atonement. I don’t know what my life would be like without Him. ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹

This week I was getting out a bowl from the cupboard and a glass casserole dish decided to fall out with it and it shattered ALL over the floor...Sis Hunter cleaned it up bless her heart but she literally got a piece of glass stuck in her foot 🫠🫠 I felt so bad. THEN the literal next day I was putting some dishes away and a ceramic mug also decided it was his time and fell out of the cupboard and shattered everywhere 🥀🥀 bro keep me out of the kitchen I swear.

One miracle we had this week was with our friend Shanita. She recently told us she had been in this bad situation for the last 3 years and was finally gonna get out of it and move! We were worried and assumed it would slow her progression with everything going on but we were ready to just give her our love and support! We had a phone call lesson with her and when we began talking to her it felt like we were talking to a whole new Shanita! She was beaming through the phone and told us she’s ready to start her new journey and that she isn’t afraid and that she looks forward to being at church EVERY SUNDAY!!! 🤯🤯🤯 and she wants to be involved in the ysa activities! Wow I am so happy! She told us the Lord put the right people in her life and had it not been for us and our constant love and the messages we share with her she wouldn't have built up the courage to leave the situation she was in 🥹🥹🥹 I love her so much and I can’t wait to see her growth and what amazing things God has in store for her 🩷

Me and Sister Hunter have done lots of service and it always end up being in cold and windy weather on the days we do. We mowed a lawn again this week and we literally said "I’m surprised we haven't gotten sick yet." Next day...woke up so sick 😫 🤒  It was such a long day. Still managed to have a couple good lessons but wow it was the worst. Woke up still sick the next day too so hopefully I start to feel better soon 😪😪🛌🛌

Been reading in Alma 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️🤝🤝

Alma 7:23-25

23 And now I would that ye should be humble, and be submissive and gentle; easy to be entreated; full of patience and long-suffering; being temperate in all things; being diligent in keeping the commandments of God at all times; asking for whatsoever things ye stand in need, both spiritual and temporal; always returning thanks unto God for whatsoever things ye do receive.

24 And see that ye have faith, hope, and charity, and then ye will always abound in good works.

25 And may the Lord bless you, and keep your garments spotless, that ye may at last be brought to sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and the holy prophets who have been ever since the world began, having your garments spotless even as their garments are spotless, in the kingdom of heaven to go no more out.

Love these verses in Alma! We should always remember to be Christlike, keep the commandments, and give thanks to God for all that we have! And as we do that the Lord will bless us!! I also want to emphasize in verse 23 when it says to "ask whatsoever things ye stand in need of both spiritual and temporal." God WANTS to bless us with the things we need and all we have to do is ask him! I have grown such a testimony in the simplicity of this gospel! This gospel IS a gospel of Joy and as we keep the commandments and follow Jesus Christ we are able to recognize that Joy in our lives and we are able to receive all the blessings the Lord has in store for us ❤️❤️
